Due to the threat of coronavirus causing the Champions League knockout matches to be postponed, UEFA leaders are scratching their heads on how to finish this season. According to "Cadena Ser," one seriously considered option is to shorten the season by reducing the number of matches. In this case, instead of quarter-final and semi-final series, a final eight tournament would be held. The second option being considered is to hold the final four matches in Istanbul, with the quarter-final being held as usual. However, it is still unclear when all eight strongest tournament teams will be known - only Madrid's "Atletico," Bergamo's "Atalanta," "RB Leipzig," and Paris' "Saint Germain" teams have made it through to the quarter-final stage.
