UEFA has started a disciplinary investigation into a racism scandal during the Europa League match between the clubs "Crvena Zvezda" and "Milan", where a person sitting in the VIP box insulted Zlatan Ibrahimović. "At the moment, a person has been appointed to conduct an investigation into the racist incidents against Zlatan Ibrahimović that took place during the Europa League quarter-final match," UEFA said in a statement. "Crvena Zvezda" club apologized to Ibrahimović last week and stated that they will cooperate with the authorities to identify the person who insulted the Swede. The Belgrade club played a 2-2 draw with Italian guests in the Europa League quarter-final match, with the return leg scheduled for February 25th.
