UEFA is determined to curb the richest European clubs

UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin is determined to put a limit on the richest European clubs.

The Slovenian is not happy with the current situation in club football, where money-drenched teams continue to dominate tournaments on the Old Continent and the gap between them and weaker opponents only grows.

According to Ceferin's planned reform, UEFA will introduce salary "caps" in club budgets.

However, the leader does not expect the dominant giants to willingly give up their current positions.

"Those who currently have the most money are the strongest and have the best relationships with the media.

If we succeed, it will be a historic reform," Ceferin said.
