"Maccabi" from Tel Aviv achieved victory against Salonika's "PAOK" with a score of 3-0, as the Greek club allowed a disqualified player to participate in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round match on Tuesday. "Maccabi" had the lead with a score of 2-1 in the away game, and in the 67th minute a Cypriot player, Liasis Loucas, entered the field instead of Greek player Georgios Koutsias within "PAOK" ranks. However, Loucas was still disqualified for two matches, as four years ago, while representing "Nea Salamis" club in an Intertoto Cup match against "Austria Wien," he received a red card. UEFA noticed this violation yesterday, and today the Disciplinary Committee announced its decision - no further action will be taken against the club or the player without changing the result. "PAOK" can appeal by midnight on Monday.
