UEFA started an investigation into the behavior of Montenegrin fans

During the 2020 European Football Championship qualifying match that took place on Monday, the England national team defeated Montenegro with a score of 5:1, but there was little talk about the result after the match.

In response to racist insults from Montenegro fans after the game, during interviews with the press, England's head coach G. Southgate and forward Raheem Sterling spoke out. They stated that UEFA should take action against racist abuse.

The coach commented that most of the insults were directed at defender Danny Rose, who received a yellow card at the end of the match.

"Forgive my words, but a few idiots spoiled a great evening. The abuse came from outside our team's bench. Frankly, it's shameful. We live in 2019 and I think there should be consequences for it," said R. Sterling.

UEFA has launched an investigation into the insults directed at the England national team players by Montenegro supporters.
