The Ukrainian national team, in a crucial match for qualifying for the European Championship, defeated Iceland with a score of 2:1.
Albert Gudmundsson scored for Iceland in the 30th minute.
Ukrainian player Viktor Tsyhankov equalized for Ukraine in the 54th minute, who currently plays for "Girona". Andriy Yarmolenko secured the victory for Ukraine in the 84th minute.
Ukraine will face Romania, Slovakia, and Belgium in the final stage of the tournament in one group.
