On Tuesday, the last EURO 2020 quarter-final match was played, after which all the participants of the quarter-finals became clear. Ukraine reached the quarter-finals after defeating Sweden 2-1 in extra time. The match started more successfully for the Ukrainians, who took the lead in the 27th minute after Oleksandr Zinchenko's accurate shot. Sweden equalized the score in the 43rd minute with a long-range shot from Emil Forsberg. The same E. Forsberg hit the goal frame twice in the second half, and Ukraine also had their chances, but after two halves the result was level - 1:1, so the teams had to play extra time. Extra time started poorly for Sweden - Marcus Danielson received a red card in the 98th minute. The Scandinavians held on for a long time with a man down, but in the 121st minute, Ukraine secured the victory with Artem Dovbyko's goal. In the quarter-finals, Ukraine will face England.
