Barcelona's desire to strengthen its squad with world-class players is not deterred by the whistling winds in the bank account.
According to El Nacional, the La Liga team, unable to pay huge sums for Sporting's forward Viktor Gyökeres, has devised a plan to finally lure the striker.
It is reported that in January, the Catalans will try to involve the unwanted forward Vitor Roque in the deal.
Currently, the 19-year-old Brazilian is on loan to Sevilla's Betis club and has scored 2 goals in 10 Spanish league matches.
Meanwhile, the Portuguese publication A Bola adds that Barcelona's sporting director Deco has already begun active discussions with the Sporting team. It is reported that Gyökeres may have a pre-agreement with the Lisbon team to leave for 60-70 million euros in the winter.
In this season's Portuguese league, Gyökeres has scored 16 goals in 10 matches.
