Unbeatable: "Liverpool" snatched victory at the end of the match against "Leicester"

At 17:00 in the English "Premier" league, five more matches of the 8th round were played.

A true evening dessert was the match between the "Liverpool" and "Leicester" clubs. After equalizing the score in the second half, the "foxes" were still unable to break the victorious start of "Liverpool" - James Milner extended the lead from the penalty spot at the end of the match.

From the beginning of the match, the "Liverpool" team showed initiative and scored their first goal at the end of the first half - in the 40th minute, Sadio Mane delighted the fans again at the "Anfield" stadium.

In the second half, the visitors did not have many opportunities, but in the 80th minute they turned one such chance into a goal. Sloppy defending by the "Liverpool" players allowed James Maddison to equalize the score.

It seemed that the "foxes" would seriously try to break the winning streak of the "reds", but the latter had other plans - in extra time, a penalty was awarded to "Leicester" which decided the winner of the match - the cool-headed James Milner continued "Liverpool's" winning streak to eight matches.

"Liverpool" have 24 points in their account and a lead of at least 8 points against "Man City" until tomorrow.

The remaining matches in the English league ended with a sensational "Aston Villa" victory 5-1 against "Norwich", another defeat for Liverpool's "Everton" and a draw between "Watford" and "Sheffield Utd".

In the last matches of the evening, London's "Crystal Palace" defeated "West Ham" on the road, who had an advantage in their first match.
