Uncommonly Honored I. Goondogan: I'm still alive!

Heavy road trauma suffered by the safety guard Ilkay Gundogan, "Man City" team prepared a surprise for him.

Before Sunday's match with London's "Arsenal" team, the players of the "citizens" club stepped onto the field wearing armbands marked with the German's surname and number, expressing respect for their unfortunate friend.

Truth be told, this event caused a storm among fans and online - most began to discuss whether an injured footballer needed to have a ceremony similar to honoring victims of a tragedy.

After a few hours, the footballer himself reacted to these events, stating on the social network "Twitter" that he is "still alive".

Thanks to my teammates & of course - congrats to my boys to this crucial win against #AFC PS: Don't worry - I'm still alive #MCIARS pic.twitter.com/det9q7C8Wp
