In recent times, names such as Mauricio Pochettino, Erik Ten Hag, Luis Enrique, Brendan Rodgers, Ernesto Valverde have been mentioned in the press as candidates for the position of head coach at "Manchester United", but it seems that none of these mentioned names will occupy this vacant position. Journalist David Ornstein from "The Athletic" reports that "Manchester United" has reached an agreement with a specialist from Germany, Ralf Rangnick. Currently, R. Rangnick still works at Moscow's "Lokomotiv" club as a sporting director, so the English club still needs to reach an agreement with the Moscow club. According to D. Ornstein, Ralf Rangnick would come to the position of interim coach for 6 months, and then work for 2 more years as a consultant at the club. The 63-year-old German is highly regarded specialist in the football world, having helped coaches such as Thomas Tuchel, Jurgen Klopp, Julian Nagelsmann, and also being one of the pioneers of gegenpressing. In the match against the "Chelsea" team, R. Rangnick will not be able to lead the "Red Devils" as he does not yet have a work permit.
