During the “La Liga” championship match that took place on Wednesday, Madrid’s “Atletico” unexpectedly lost to “Mallorca” with a score of 1:0.
The only goal of the match was scored in the 16th minute. Vedatas Muriqi scored after a pass from Jaume Costa.
A few moments later, “Atletico” managed to send the ball into the opponent's goal, but Alvaro Morata’s accurate shot was overturned after a VAR review.
Throughout the rest of the match, the “mattressers” had some advantage in terms of gameplay, but it was not enough to at least draw.
Currently, Madrid’s “Atletico” ranks in the same position on the tournament table as the “Athletic” and “Betis” clubs in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
