On Friday, the fourth stage of the FA Cup started with intriguing matches.
At the "Emirates" stadium, London's "Arsenal" and "Manchester United" teams battled for a spot in the quarter-finals. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's players extended their winning streak and eliminated the "Gunners" with a score of 1-3.
In the 31st minute, former team leader Alexis Sanchez scored the first goal for "Arsenal". The Chilean, receiving a pass from Romelu Lukaku, controlled the ball in front of Petr Cech and scored a precise shot to disappoint the home supporters.
The "Man Utd" team did not stop after taking the lead by just one goal - just two minutes later, Jesse Lingard increased the advantage with another goal, and Lukaku also added a goal to his tally.
However, right at the end of the first half, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang managed to reduce the deficit, keeping the intrigue alive for the second half.
In these matches, "Arsenal" faced serious difficulties - Unai Emery was forced to replace two central defenders. Both Sokratis and Laurent Koscielny suffered injuries.
In the second half of the match, the "Gunners" dominated possession, but Sergio Romero had no major problems in front of his goal.
The hosts' hopes of a comeback were shattered in the 82nd minute when Paul Pogba took the ball, launched a quick attack, shot powerfully at P. Cech, the ball deflected towards Anthony Martial, who finished all of "Arsenal's" suffering in the match with a simple shot.
Since taking over the team, Solskjaer has achieved a one hundred percent winning record - eight out of eight matches.
