On Monday night, the last match of the 16th round of the English Premier League took place.
At the King Power Stadium, the leader of the league, Leicester City, faced off against London's Chelsea team. The unstoppable duo of "foxes" led the team to victory with a score of 2-1.
The first goal came in the 34th minute, when Jamie Vardy, the top scorer of the league, received an excellent high pass from Riyad Mahrez and put the hosts ahead.
Chelsea struggled throughout the match, but towards the end of the second half, they were punished for the second time. This time, R. Mahrez scored with a brilliant shot, defeating Thibaut Courtois.
As the match was coming to an end, the visitors from London managed to narrow the gap, with Loic Remy scoring after coming on as a substitute. However, this goal had no significant impact on the outcome of the match.
