On Monday evening, the last 36th round of matches in the English Premier League were played.
London's Chelsea footballers welcomed league outsiders Middlesbrough in front of their home fans. Antonio Conte's team - the five-time English champions - crushed Boro 3-0.
Chelsea took the initiative from the beginning of the match and scored the first goal in the 23rd minute. After a great pass from Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa found himself in front of the goalkeeper and sent the ball into the opponent's net with a precise shot.
There was no need to wait long for the second goal at Stamford Bridge stadium - Marcos Alonso scored a great goal falling from an acute angle in the 34th minute.
In the second half, Nemanja Matic sealed the deal in the 65th minute. Interestingly, all three goals were scored through the "klyn" of Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Guzan.
Leading the table, Chelsea now have a 7-point advantage over Tottenham from London and will secure the title of English champions on Friday with a win against West Brom.
