FIFA updated the national team rankings.
Brazil, despite exiting the World Cup in the quarter-finals, retained the first place in the FIFA world ranking.
World Cup finalists Argentina and France both climbed one step in the ranking. Meanwhile, Belgium, who exited the tournament in the group stage, found themselves in fourth place.
It is worth mentioning the significant leaps of Morocco, Australia, and Cameroon.
Morocco jumped from 22nd place to 11th. Australia climbed from 38th to 27th. The Cameroonian team now sits in 33rd place.
Teams like Canada and Qatar, who had unsuccessful tournament campaigns, fell more than 10 positions in the ranking.
The U.S. team, who successfully navigated the group stage, surpassed Germany in the ranking, who suffered their second consecutive World Cup failure. The strong performance of Croatia is also noteworthy, as they currently hold the 7th position.
Seven teams have risen by more than ten places in the #FIFARanking since December 2021 ⬆
