Uruguayan football legend Diego Forlan officially announced the end of his career. The 40-year-old striker did not play last season, but had not yet made a final decision. The last club where the Uruguayan played was "Kitchee" based in Hong Kong. "After 21 years, I decided to put an end to my professional career. With this decision, I finish an amazing stage, full of great memories and positive emotions. Now, new career challenges await," wrote D. Forlan on his Twitter account. Throughout his career, D. Forlan played for a total of ten teams. He played for teams such as "Man Utd", Madrid's "Atletico" and Milan's "Inter". Playing for clubs, D. Forlan played a total of 693 matches and scored 273 goals. He ended his career with the national team in 2015. Representing his country, the striker played 112 matches and scored 36 goals.
