A former track and field athlete who tried to become a professional footballer decided to end his sports career.
The 32-year-old Jamaican athlete spent two months at the Australian football club "Central Coast Mariners", with whom he was preparing for the upcoming season. However, U. Bolt left the team last November when he did not find financial support to cover the contract for the Jamaican. Now the Jamaican announced that he is giving up his dream of becoming a footballer.
"It was fun. I'm not saying that the club treated me improperly, but I think things could have gone differently.
Live and learn. It was a great experience - it was fun to be part of the team," U. Bolt said.
In friendly matches in October, U. Bolt even scored two goals for the Australian club, but now he admitted that he will no longer become a footballer.
