V. Čeburinas identified the main reasons for the defeat

After the unsuccessful visit to Kaunas district, the coach of the "Žalgiris" team, Vladimiras Čeburinas, spoke about a multitude of mistakes.

In a tough match, "Hegelmann" won with a score of 3:1 after scoring two goals within minutes in the second half.

"A very large number of mistakes. A lot of lost matches. The opponent with their tactic of long passes managed to make a lot of positive moves. After a set-piece situation, we didn't concentrate and missed a goal. There are days like these. It was a match marathon, even though it is the same for all teams. Today, a lot of things didn't go well for us," said V. Čeburinas.

The coach did not rush to assess why so many mistakes were made in this match, especially in the middle of the field: "We will talk about mistakes, we will do video analysis. To identify where we went wrong. Why they happen, when and for what reasons. It's hard to say anything about it in advance. However, there are a lot of mistakes."

So far this season, "Žalgiris" has only failed to beat the "Hegelmann" team, suffering two defeats. When asked if this was an unfavorable opponent, V. Čeburinas replied: "All opponents are of a similar level, but today our opponent did better because we made a lot of mistakes."
