Valdo Dambrauskas upcoming season in the UEFA Champions League we will not see. The team coached by the Lithuanian, "Ludogorets," in the final qualifying round matches defeated "Malmo" with a score of 2:1, however the Swedish club triumphed in the series with an overall score of 3:2. The match for the Bulgarian champions started very successfully - in the 10th minute Anton Nedyalkov sent the ball into the goal. "Malmo" equalized the score in the 42nd minute, when Veljko Birmančević scored a penalty kick. "Ludogorets" revived hope in the 60th minute when Pieros Sotiriou scored a penalty kick from 11 meters. However, V. Dambrauskas' players were unable to equalize the score in the remaining time. In the upcoming season, the team coached by the Lithuanian will compete in the UEFA Europa League tournament.
