"Manchester City" captain Vincent Kompany stated that the success of "Manchester United" this season is determined by newcomer Robin van Persie.
"There is no doubt - the 'Red Devils' snatched the gold pot, attracting the Dutchman. But there is no need to whine, because I don't think about what would happen if we bought Lionel Messi," the defender said.
"Robin incredibly strengthened the 'Man Utd' club, but he will not stand in the way of our aspirations," Kompany assured.
This season, R. van Persie has already scored 22 goals.
