„Burnley“ team coach Vincent Kompany still maintains good relations with the „Manchester City“ team. The team, competing in the „Championship“ next season, announced today the acquisition of 19-year-old CJ Egan-Riley. The central defender, who grew up in the „Citizens“ academy, made his debut last season in the „Champions“ League, EFL Cup, and local championship. However, his contract has expired, and the 19-year-old will continue his career at „Burnley“ under the guidance of „Man City“ legend Vincent Kompany.
Reliable journalist David Ornstein reports that „Burnley“ is also trying to acquire „Man City“ goalkeeper Arijanet Muric. Currently, there is no agreement, but negotiations are ongoing for the 23-year-old Kosovo national team player. However, Adana „Demirspor“, for whom Muric played on loan last season, is also trying to attract the Kosovar.
In Turkey, Arijanet Muric played 32 matches last season, conceding 38 goals and keeping his goal shut 10 times.
