"Manchester City" on Wednesday won the victory in the Manchester derby and took a huge step towards the "Premier" league trophy.
The "Cityzens" currently have 89 points and lead the second-placed "Liverpool" team by just a few points. Both teams have three more games to play until the end of the season.
"Man City" captain Vincent Kompany, after the victory against "Man Utd", praised the team's performance and stated that the "Cityzens" must win all three remaining games if they want to triumph in the "Premier" league.
"We didn't start the match as well as we wanted, but sometimes such things happen. We defended well, and in the second half, we felt our rhythm. Our goal in the second half was to score goals.
This is a crucial victory because it was won in the derby. We still haven't won the league. Now we have tough away games against "Burnley". Both us and "Liverpool" still have things to fight for.
We must win all the remaining games. We can't expect "Liverpool" to drop points," V. Kompany told "Sky Sports" TV.
