Virgil van Dijk is already the fourth player of Liverpool this summer, who extended his contract with the club. Before him, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho and Alisson extended their contracts with the "Reds", and now it's time for the Dutchman van Dijk. The center-back signed a contract extension that will last until 2025. So, the Dutchman will play for Liverpool for at least four more years. Last season, V. van Dijk had to miss due to a cruciate ligament injury, but since 2018, the Dutchman has been a very important pillar in the Liverpool defense and one of the factors why the "Reds" triumphed in the Champions League and the Premier League during that time. In 2019, V. van Dijk was named UEFA Player of the Season.
