V. Van Dijk: we can beat any team

"Liverpool" team created a miracle. On Tuesday, Jurgen Klopp's players at home crushed "Barcelona" team 4:0 and advanced to the Champions League final.

After the second leg semi-final match in Liverpool, "Reds" defender Virgil Van Dijk stated that in the decisive match they are ready to fight against any opponent.

"We feel that we can beat everyone, as soon as we step onto the field. Otherwise, we wouldn't even start the match. On Wednesday, both clubs ("Tottenham" and "Ajax" - ed. note) face a tough match and we will see who will go to Madrid. And we are already preparing for the decisive match," said the Dutchman.

"Liverpool" defender Fabinho highlighted the importance of the first goal and exceptional defense.

"After a tough Premier League match against "Newcastle United" we didn't have much time to prepare for the match against the Catalans, but we have been preparing for such moments throughout the season. The result after the match in Barcelona wasn't good, but we played well. Today we tried the same thing - pressuring the opponents and giving our all on the field. We managed to score a goal quickly and that made the difference," explained the Brazilian.

"And we defended against L. Messi as a team."
