Throughout his career, Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk has had to play against almost all of the planet's most famous forwards.
On the website, the Dutchman was asked to compile a list of the most difficult opponents to stop.
According to V. Van Dijk, he does not believe that Cristiano Ronaldo, with whom he has competed in various tournaments in the past, belongs to the ranks of the most dangerous opponents.
The defender chose Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Sergio Aguero, and Olivier Giroud.
"E. Haaland is a very dangerous opponent. He is very strong and plays modern football," said Van Dijk.
"S. Aguero did not score many goals when I was still playing for Southampton, but he could shoot accurately with both feet and I always had to be ready.
And Giroud formed a good partnership with Eden Hazard, besides, he scored good goals against me. I thought he wouldn't succeed, but it turned out the opposite," said V. Van Dijk.
