"Monaco" club vice-president Vadimas Vasilijevas confirmed that he rejected "Paris Saint-Germain's" offer for left-back Layvin Kurzawa.
According to reports, the French champions made an offer of 18 million euros for the 22-year-old player.
"For now, we have rejected PSG's offer," Vasilijevas is quoted by "L'Equipe."
"It is true that the clubs continue to communicate with each other. However, it is also true that Layvin is wanted by several other teams."
It is believed that "Monaco" will have to sell L. Kurzawa if they fail to qualify for the Champions League to fill financial gaps. However, V. Vasilijevas states that the club's budget is planned with the consideration that "Monaco" will not qualify for the prestigious European football club tournament.
"I cannot say what will happen until August 31st. But as I have already said, from a financial point of view, the club does not need to sell players, even if we do not qualify for the Champions League."
