The security guard of Pamplona Valdo is furious at the Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos for laughing after the Brazilian injured him during a club match on Sunday.
In that match, Valdo was forced to leave the field 18 minutes after his former teammate R. Carlos injured his left shin during the match.
"I didn't understand his attitude," quoted the Spanish sports newspaper "Marca" the "Osasuna" security guard. "He laughed when I told him I was injured and said he would do it again."
"I reacted strongly to his attitude," said Valdo. "I kicked the ball at him just so I wouldn't harm myself or the team, but I was furious. Besides, no one from "Real" reached out to apologize to me."
On Tuesday, Valdo will undergo comprehensive tests to determine the severity of the injury.
The 24-year-old security guard is a product of the "Real" youth academy, having joined "Osasuna" in 2002.
Valdo claimed that Roberto Carlos has changed significantly over the past few years.
"He used to be a happy person, enjoying football," Valdo said. "Every player who injures an opponent at least apologizes. Everyone does so. He disappointed me both as a person and as a professional."
