"Sky Sports News" reports that the Valencia team has reached an agreement with London's Arsenal for the acquisition of Francis Coquelin.
If these news are confirmed, the Spaniards will have to pay 12 million pounds for the midfielder. It is announced that the player will move to Spain after rejecting offers from West Ham United and Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old Frenchman has been playing for Arsenal since 2008 and during that time he has been loaned to Lorient, Freiburg, and Charlton Athletic teams.
During this season, the midfielder appeared 15 times and provided one assist. However, in two out of the 15 games, he played for Arsenal's reserve team.
F. Coquelin has won two FA Cups and played in both finals, but competition from Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, and Mohamed Elneny led to the Frenchman leaving England.
