The champion of Spain announced that the team's goalkeeper Pablo Aimar does not intend to leave the club.
This week, an interview with Pablo Aimar was published in the English newspaper "Daily Star," where the Argentinean stated that he was not ruling out the possibility of moving to Rafael Benitez's team if the situation does not change in Valencia. However, Valencia officials officially denied this information today.
"We spoke with Aimar and he assured us that he had not met with journalists from the 'Daily Star' and did not speak with them. Furthermore, Aimar has not given any interviews recently," the official Valencia website announced.
Valencia also denied a statement made by the club's press officer, Augustino Moreros, that the team received an offer from Liverpool to sell Aimar for 12 million euros.
