The 25-year-old Spaniard's contract with Valencia is valid for another year, but the club wants to extend the agreement with this player already this summer. It is said that negotiations will start right after Easter.
"Everything is going well for me this season," said the top scorer in the Spanish championship, who has already scored 18 goals this season. "I want to stay in Valencia, but everything will happen in due time."
Mista is also one of the candidates for the Spanish national team.
