“Valencia” is preparing to submit a €38 million offer for “Manchester United” midfielder Juan Mata in January. However, the Spanish club will have to wait for a new owner to acquire all rights to him.
Singaporean businessman Peter Lim has already been involved in deals for summer arrivals.
The former Chelsea star arrived at Stamford Bridge from Valencia in 2011, but when Jose Mourinho benched Mata, he moved to the ranks of the “Red Devils” in the winter of 2014.
However, this summer, Man United coach Louis van Gaal acquired a bunch of newcomers and the place of the Spanish national team midfielder is no longer secure in the starting eleven.
Although it is not yet clear whether Mata himself would like to return to his homeland, it is said that the English team is willing to consider offers.
It is believed that “Valencia” is planning to loan the midfielder in winter and buy out his entire contract in summer.
