Van Gaal will have to make do without four key players against Chelsea.

"Manchester United's preparation for the match against London's Chelsea was overshadowed by news of player injuries. Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind, and Michael Carrick will be forced to miss the game against the leaders of the English championship.

The footballers were injured in last weekend's Manchester derby, but did not have time to recover. Jones and Carrick did not finish the match, and Rojo felt pain the next day. Blind suffered an injury after a tackle by Vincent Kompany.

Since Jonny Evans is still suspended, young Paddy McNair will likely have to play in the heart of defense. The recovered Luke Shaw should take Blind's place on the left side of defense.

With both key defenders missing, team coach Louis van Gaal promises to move forward Wayne Rooney to this position. After a long break, Radamel Falcao is set to take a starting position."
