Football fans often scratch their heads over one referee decision or another.
For casual viewers who are not familiar with football rules, even more questions arise.
To address this issue, UEFA has decided to introduce an important rule ahead of the upcoming European Football Championship.
During the tournament, after each VAR intervention, the reasons for such decisions will be thoroughly explained on TV broadcasts as well as on stadium screens.

Journalist Sam Dean also reported that during broadcasts, viewers will see special graphics and will be able to assess in real time with the referees whether the offside rule was violated, if the ball touched the hand, and so on.
TV viewers of Euro 2024 will see the football equivalent of snickometer this summer.
