VDA advanced to the futsal cup round of 16

The Vilnius VDA team became the last team to reach the LFF futsal cup quarter-finals.

This Saturday, the Vilnius team won their first stage match away with a score of 6:3 against Joniškis "Saned".

After the first half, the guests were already leading 4:0. In the first half, Rokas Grikštas scored two goals for the VDA team, while Valdemar Borovskij and Pavel Šarynskis each added one goal.

At the beginning of the second half, V. Borovskij further increased VDA's advantage, but then "Saned" tried to organize a bit of a comeback.

Daniel Matthew scored the first goal for "Saned", and soon after, one of the VDA players accidentally sent the ball into their own net.

However, in the 36th minute, Eimantas Mongirdas shattered the last hopes of the home team to fight for victory, while the goal from "Saned" player Abraham Ndugwa at the end of the match changed nothing fundamentally.

In the LFF futsal cup quarter-finals, VDA will meet the "Akmenės kraštas" team.
