The architect of the victories of the Spanish national team, Vicente Del Bosque, does not consider his own team as the main candidates to win the upcoming World Cup.
The strategist believes that Brazil has the best chances, as they will be playing in front of their own fans. Last summer, the Spaniards already had to acknowledge the superiority of the Brazilians in the FIFA Confederations Cup.
"I think that the favorites in the World Cup are the Brazilians," Del Bosque stated. "They have excellent players and play well as a team, but it won't be easy for them."
"For now, we are the champions and will defend this title in Brazil. There are many great teams in this tournament: Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Brazil, and others. The World Cup is short, and anyone can triumph in it," added the specialist.
The European champions will play their first group stage match in the World Cup against the Netherlands on June 13th.
