According to individuals involved in the investigation by the Italian economic police, today the bank accounts of the two largest clubs in Milan, "AC Milan" and "Inter," were inspected.
Both Milan clubs have refused to comment on these actions.
Back in February, the economic police conducted raids at the headquarters of all 42 football clubs that play in the top two divisions of Italian football.
During this time, the clubs denied engaging in financial misconduct or casually managing their accounts, even though many of them are burdened with enormous debts due to recklessly large sums spent on acquiring new players.
