On Saturday at 19:30, the tenth round of matches in the English "Premier" league took place.
They will long be remembered by the American Christian Pulisic of London's "Chelsea" team, who led the "Blues" to a convincing victory against the "Burnley" team playing on their home field.
Substituted in the match against Amsterdam's "Ajax," C. Pulisic looked lively in this duel and earned the trust of Frank Lampard - he showed his skills from the very first minutes.
Frank Lampard's decision bore fruit already in the first half - in the 21st minute, the American scored the first goal for "Chelsea" after a mistake by "Burnley," sprinting through the center of the field and striking accurately to put the visitors in the lead. This was his first goal for the "Chelsea" club.
At the end of the first half, C. Pulisic scored another goal - again, after a shot, he dribbled past the opponent's leg and scored the second goal for himself.
However, the American's double in these matches was not the end - in the 56th minute, he managed to score even after a corner kick and became only the second American to achieve a "hat-trick" in the "Premier" league, since Clint Dempsey did it in 2012.
The final touch on the "Chelsea" cake was made by Willian, who also scored after a great run down the right.
The end of the match was not the most successful for the visitors from London - "Burnley" managed to score two goals in a three-minute span, but the "Blues" did not make any more mistakes and secured a 4-2 victory.
After their fourth consecutive victory, "Chelsea" remains in the top four. The "Burnley" team is in 11th place with 12 points.
