The Vigo team, which returned to the highest division in Spain after a year's break, announced today that they have rented the young Dutch defender Daniel de Ridder from Amsterdam for a year.
The 21-year-old footballer had previously mentioned that he wants to move to another club, as he did not fit into Ajax coach Danny Blind's tactical plans, so two teams immediately showed interest in him - Celta and "Celta."
The offer from "Celta" seemed more tempting, and the player himself did not hide his desire to test himself in one of the most prestigious leagues in the world, La Liga, so both parties quickly reached a mutual agreement.
Looking to the future, the leaders of "Celta" included a clause in the contract, according to which they will be able to fully purchase the player after the rental period ends.
