Vikings confidently defeated Radviliškis

In the postponed 16th round match of the "TOPsport futsal A league," the Jonavos "Vikingai" secured a resounding 11:3 victory at home against "Radviliškis" and moved ahead of "Bruklinas" from Vilkaviškis by one point in the league table, having played one match less.

The home team pressed their opponents from the very start. Within the first two minutes, Benas Spietinis failed to capitalize on a great chance, and a minute later, Paulius Osauskas opened the scoring with a long shot.

In the first half, "Vikingai" scored two more goals, extending their lead to 3:0. The three-goal difference was confirmed when the referee signaled the end of the first half. With 50 seconds remaining, Helveris Smith scored a double with a header, and the scoreboard read 5:2.

After the break, "Radviliškis" completely collapsed, and the difference regularly increased. In just under nine minutes of the second half, three more goals were scored. There could have been even more, but the hosts missed a six-meter penalty.

With one and a half minutes left in the match, "Vikingai" led 8:3, but then Jeferson Fula and Bermundez Sepulveda managed to score three more goals in the remaining time.

The "Vikingai" achieved their second consecutive victory, while "Radviliškis" extended their losing streak to four. The Jonavos team will compete against VIP this weekend, while "Radviliškis" will face "Kauno Žalgiris." Both teams have three matches remaining until the end of the regular season.
