Receiving a red card in the Spanish championship match against Bilbao's "Athletic", striker David Villa has been disqualified for one game.

Villa saw the red card for hitting opponent defender Carlos Gurpegi.

Earlier, "Athletic" member Fernando Amorebieta was also sent off the field for a foul against Andres Iniesta. He will also miss one match.
