Villas Boas: "Chelsea" must secure at least fourth place, even if it is not very honorable. © EuroFootball.com

London strategist Andre Villas Boas admits that this season in the English Premier League is not going well, but assures that he has maintained the trust of owner Roman Abramovich.

The 'Blues' are currently in fourth place in the standings with 43 points, but league leaders Manchester City are ahead by a whopping 14 points.

"In the league, we are trying to minimize losses as much as possible and at least secure fourth place, which is not very honorable for this club," the Portuguese said.

He continued: "Owner Abramovich is interested in the processes taking place. Our relationship is good, we communicate positively. He is a good person with whom we can share thoughts, ask questions, and seek answers. I would say these are normal manager-coach relationships."
