The president of the Lithuanian Football Federation, Edgaras Stankevičius, officially announced an important piece of news.
The LFF stadium in Vilnius is transferring into the hands of the "Žalgiris" team.
According to the leader, the selling price of the facility is 3.5 million euros.
However, formally the stadium has been purchased by the company "Ollex," and after 15 years it will pass into the hands of the Vilnius team.
Meanwhile, the LFF plans to move its headquarters from the capital's arena to the facilities of the Darius and Girėnas Stadium in Kaunas.
