Real Madrid forward Vinicius claims that the banner raised by Man City fans in yesterday's Champions League match did not annoy him.

According to the Brazilian, everything turned out to be quite the opposite.

"I saw the banner, but when the opposing fans do such things, I always gain more strength to play a great match. And that’s exactly what happened today."

"Man City knows our history and everything we have accomplished in this tournament," the footballer explained.

Manchester City fans decided to mock the guests' behavior during the past Ballon d'Or voting and wrote: "Stop crying from the heart," alongside an image of Rodri kissing a trophy.

In the first match of the knockout stage series, Real defeated Man City 3:2 away and has a good chance to advance to the next stage of the tournament.
