"Vitesse" secured their first major trophy in 125 years (VIDEO)

In the Netherlands - a historic day for the "Vitesse" club, which yesterday won the country's cup final with a result of 2-0 against "Alkmaar" and won the first "major" trophy in the club's history. Founded in 1892, the Dutch football club had not yet won any important trophies throughout its long history. "Vitesse" had only won the country's second football division twice. In the Dutch cup final, "Vitesse" fought not for the first time - three times the team from Arnhem had to admit defeat to their opponents, but the fourth time was different. In the "Eredivisie" championship, "Vitesse" currently holds the seventh position after playing 32 rounds (two more rounds remaining).
