On December 5th, the third integration professional football tournament "My Profession" took place at the stadium of the Social Services Department of the Kaunas Technology Vocational Training Center, where students with special educational needs (Social Services Department of the Kaunas Technology Vocational Training Center), employees from VŠĮ Vilkija PSPC, the Kaunas Deaf Center, teachers (Social Services Department of the Kaunas Technology Vocational Training Center), educational support specialists (Social Services Department of the Kaunas Technology Vocational Training Center), multimedia specialists (Kaunas Information Technology School), family representatives from Kelmė, and players from the Kaunas Deaf Sports Club "Tyla" gathered to test their strength.

The third football event was dedicated to celebrating Volunteer Day, as it is one of the noblest things we can do: to freely dedicate our time to others.

"Volunteering - how much meaning is packed into this activity. The participants of the football tournament, rushing onto the field, aimed to draw attention to the importance of the volunteering mission, which is to help, empathize, understand, listen, be present, and most importantly, to love unconditionally. Volunteering creates friendship, satisfaction in activities, and belief that everyone is important, leading to positive changes. Every goal that flew into the net signaled unity and an open football field for everyone wishing to share," shared Giedra Sadauskienė, the head of the Social Services Department, after the event.

The tournament participants played three against three with a size five ball. During the matches, the players from each team made their own decisions, showing respect for one another.

After all matches were played, the team from VŠĮ Vilkija PSPC secured first place without any losses, while the representatives of the Kaunas Deaf Sports Club "Tyla" took second place, and the third place went to the educational support specialists from the Social Services Department.

The prize winners and participants of the football tournament were awarded prizes established by the Kaunas District Football Federation and the Lithuanian Mass Football Association, and one of the event participants received a personal gift prepared by the captain of the Lithuanian women's national team, Milda Liužinaitė.

Event organizers: Vida Misevičienė, an expert vocational teacher from the Social Services Department, football coach Ernestas Fedorčak, and football enthusiast Martynas Karpavičius.
