Victor Valdes is approaching an agreement with the "Liverpool" club and will undergo a medical examination in the next two weeks, the foreign football news portal "Goal.com" reports.
The Catalan goalkeeper suffered a serious injury in March and is likely to be able to return to the field at the beginning of November. The 32-year-old footballer is a free agent and would not cost anything to the "Reds".
V. Valdes left "Barcelona" club in the summer of 2014. The "Liverpool" manager is not satisfied with Simon Mignolet's performance and would like to have another high-class goalkeeper.
However, "Liverpool" wants V. Valdes to undergo a medical examination and then decide whether the rehabilitation has been successful and whether the injury will not affect the Spaniard's future career.
Before the injury, the goalkeeper was particularly linked to the "Monaco" club, but so far only "Liverpool" is seriously interested in Valdes's services, who will most likely attract him.
