Last season's Champions League winners failed to celebrate victory in their last four matches and, moreover, their defense was notably leaky.
Before the upcoming "Community Shield" match against "Man City" club, which will take place next weekend, "Red Devils" defender Virgil Van Dijk warned his team mates.
"We need to show our best game. If we continue to look like this, we won't fight for this trophy. It's as simple as that," the Dutchman said.
"We still have time to prepare, we will play a friendly match that will be useful for players returning to the lineup. I think we will definitely be ready for the match against 'Man City'," Van Dijk said.
