W. Fofana: 'We'll see if I ever move to the Marseille club'

London "Chelsea" club defender Wesley Fofana stated that he could have transferred to the Marseille "Olympique" club:

"I spoke with the Marseille team, which interested me.

This happened with director Mehdi Benatia and this conversation was special. I considered the move, but at the moment the goal is to achieve something with the 'aristocrats' so that I can establish myself here."

"Marseille 'Olympique'... One day we will see."

"I still have a contract until 2029 with 'Chelsea'. Marseille is my city, my club, I am an OM fan... That is true.

We will see if in a few years I will join 'Olympique' or if I will remain permanently with London 'Chelsea'.”

Wesley Fofana has been playing for London "Chelsea" since 2022.
