W. Gallas: Mbappe was born to become one of the best

Former midfielder William Gallas of famous clubs believes that his compatriot Kylian Mbappe will become an elite player in the future. However, for now, he should stay with "Monaco."

The 18-year-old talent only revealed himself last season when he became the scorer of even the UEFA Champions League semifinals.

It's no wonder that the sniper immediately attracted the attention of giants like "Real Madrid," "Paris Saint-Germain," "Manchester City," and "Arsenal," who are willing to pay more than 100 million euros for him.

"This guy was born to become one of the best players in the world," Gallas told Goal.com. "The way he talks, the way he handles his life, is incredible. He is only eighteen."

"However, he seems to be a true, true professional footballer. He knows what he wants, and that shocked me. I haven't seen many players his age so mature."

Gallas also disagrees with the popular Mbappe comparison to Thierry Henry. The latter also started his career with "Monaco," but according to the defender, his game resembles Neymar's much more.

"They are similar. If everything goes well for him, he will become the best footballer in the world," added the former "Arsenal" captain.

"He is still young. I think he will stay with "Monaco" for another year. If he does that, it will be a good decision. Next year, there will be a World Cup."

Although Mbappe is only 18 years old, he has already debuted for the French national team, where he has played four matches. In club football last season, the striker scored 26 goals and made 14 assists.
